Not on the Stack Exchange network

In January 2016, I requested my account to be removed from Stack Overflow.

While SO remains a great site to check answers about almost any language or tech, calling it a friendly place would be an overstatement.

Interacting on SO was mostly a one-way story with moderators getting in the way of having stuff answered and the community in general falling 90% short of my expectations.

In 5 years I gave 17 answers and asked 12 questions. Here's a breakdown of the answers I got.

Stack Overflow is in Decline and it sucks.

As I am not so keen on using S.O. anymore, I thought I'd make a clean break and off their site from my searches. Which leads to another question: when am I switching to a better search engine?
